When I was 11yrs old, I wrote my first paper – Textiles of India. Mom always thought I would go into textile design but alas, I had other ideas – lol – so I took a round about path to where I am now – not designing textiles per say, but working with fiber and fabric in another way.

As a career profession, I have been teaching college students for the film / game art industry and later graphic design industry since 2001.

My formal education covers 3 college degrees and a host of independent courses in — art history, history of ancient architecture, history of decorative arts, history of fashion design, printmaking, small metal sculpture, book arts, 3D fibers, ceramics, pueblo pottery making, analog photography, digital photography, documentary photography, fashion design pattern-making and production, life drawing, computer art, sound design, 3D animation, felting, weaving, spinning, crochet, knitting, silk painting, found object sculpture, paper making.
I guess you can call me a jack of all trades – lol — an image-maker, textile artist, weaver, painter, mixed media artist, sculptor and yes — a house painter. 

Primarily, I consider myself a catalyst for fostering creative growth….a creative mentor guru of sorts — a guide – and I am really happy to be on this journey because I get to do what I love most — create and help others do the same.
