I enjoy weaving small – my loom is a simple 7inch square frame loom which makes weaving quick, easy and short term experimental. I weave with mostly hand spun wool yarn, some commercial cotton and fun commercial acrylic yarn — mixing and matching materials is a lot of fun with minimal rules.

Woven on a simple tapestry loom 7″ x 7″ Weaving sample – Gulf Coast Native Sheep yarn from Dove’s Roost Farm in Florida – Ellen Smith Hogan shepherdess and spinner.

The sheep below from Dove’s Roost supplied the goodies – Jaanet on the left for the yarn and Ticker on the right with the horns for the raw wool Gulf Coast Native Sheep
